Q: Who can use this program?
A: This program is for homeschoolers who struggle with Creative Writing. But I am also willing to help students who want to refine their skill, and ESL students.
Q: What should I expect?
A: Much of that depends on what you, the student, want and need to do to improve. Before we begin, I would need you to tell me what you think of Creative Writing, and what you want help with. Then we will plan a project together, a short story or comic. Before we start the project, we will work on a few activities to learn a few key writing skills. We will continue to do short activities even while working on the project, in order to keep these skills sharp. When you have finished your goal, and are happy with the project, you have the option of having your story or comic self-published!
Q: What else can I do?
A: You can enter bi-monthly short story contests, and if you win, I will illustrate your story. You may also read the books on the recommended reading list, and we can discuss what stands out and makes these books such great stories. (You may also suggest and discuss your own favourite book).
